Welcome to Heston's Lodge and Country Store. Heston's Lodge offers secluded log cabins on the shore of Gunflint Lake in Northeastern Minnesota, along the route of the Voyageurs. Heston's is a place to relax, rejuvenate and feel refreshed. It's a place to make discoveries and memories. It is a place where families feel at home.

Our family has made this place our home for four generations, and we invite you to visit us and just "be in the woods," amidst tall pines and old cedars. Feel miles away when you're not far from home.

Our charming cabins are situated along the shore of Gunflint Lake, and have everything you need to make you feel right at home. (We know. We have spent time living in each one to make sure it really is just right.)

There is always something going on here. Hike the trails, canoe and boat the waters, explore the history of the land. In the quiet of winter, cross-country ski the groomed trails or use snowshoes to make tracks in the wild. End the day with a wood-fired sauna and a plunge into the lake. And then there are those little "Heston's extras." Like the time North House Folk School built a bread oven here. Or in the winter when we cut a hole in the ice and you can jump right in from the wood-fired sauna.
