White Pine Cabin
White Pine was built in 1991. The logs are red pine, from the Greenwood Lake area, here on the Gunflint Trail. The log work was done in Grand Marais, and then the cabin was re-assembled onsite. Greg, Cousin Myrl, and our friend, Rod Zahara, did all of the finishing work.
The cabin has a large open living room and kitchen area, with a cathedral ceiling. The living room has a fireplace/woodstove, and we supply the wood for it. A large worktable in the kitchen, hand-built by Greg, from old timbers, provides excellent space for dinner prep or craft work.
A bedroom on the main floor has a queen-size bed and an antique dressing table. Upstairs, the open loft has two queen-size beds. The bathroom features an oak floor and a tile shower.
A large deck looks down to the shoreline, and a small campfire circle right on the lake. This cabin is adjacent to our beach area, just a short walk away.

Base rates are for two people, per night or per week.
Children ages 5-16 are half the adult rate, after the first two people.
Under 5 years, no charge. We have cribs and a high chair for your convenience.
